IMAM Challenge: Dec 18 - Favourite Fairy Tale/Cartoon

I decided I should go with an Indonesian fairy tale to introduce people to my culture! My favourite stories as a kid was about Si Kancil (The Mouse Deer), a prank loving mouse deer who outwits all the bigger animals in the jungle. The stories made me laugh and I loved listening to them all night.

This is using Lit Cosmetics Magic Dragon, Life's Entropy's Stay Pawsitive, Blanche Neige's Deep Sea, & Backstreet Makeup Co's Meatloaf Again!

This is using My Pretty Zombie's Grandma Cleavage, Notoriously Morbid's Snow Queen's Return, Backstreet Makeup Co's Usky, Life's Entropy's Astral Imprisonment. Here's the full face!

But then Lit's Glitter Friday challenge them of Snow & Stars totally fit into this theme too, and I ended up liking the look I did for Lit more! So this is what I'm submitting for the Winter Wonderland theme!

IMAM Challenge: Dec 15 - Complementary Colours

I wanted to do a purple and yellow-gold halo for the Complementary Colours theme, but I think I over blended the gold and yellow, and they're not really showing up. XD

Using Müse eyeshadows, Mad Labs' Pyrite, and Darling Girl's Aurelia's Fire!

This is for the Hanukkah theme! I'm using Lifes Entropy's Stay Pawsitive & Dream Coil, Notoriously Morbid's Cry Innocent, TTL's Ehhhuagh, and Lit Cosmetics' Mexican Lucky & Gold Digger!

IMAM Challenge: Dec 13 - Meteor Shower

This look actually went wrong...I wanted to do streaks of glitter like a meteor shower, but I accidentally opened my eyes before the glue dried and ended up with a patchy mess. I ended up liking the look more so I stuck with it! The black is an old Müse eyeshadow that I added Crucible Gold too (swatch here) and the glitters are Lit's Gold Digger & Mexican Lucky.

The lips is Brazen's Two Faced, this blue duochrome lip gloss you can layer over any colour to give them a crazy blue shift!

IMAM Challenge: Dec 12 - Scent of the Day

I decided to go with my favourite scent, Darling Clandestine's Blue Valentine (review here). I definitely felt the pressure to make this look as pretty as the scent!

This look took soooo many eyeshadows. I lost track as I blended, but i think about 7 different colours went in there. There's a bunch of different Müse shadows, POMI's Ripley, Ten Three Lab's Bells Bells Bells, and  Dawn Eyes' Kartini. The eyeliner is Urban Decay's eyeliner in Chaos!

I used Eccentric Cosmetics' Cano Cristales for the lips again! I think I managed to capture more of the purple-ish shift here! The blush and highlight are Femme Fatale's Monsters From Mars & Toy Terror respectively.

IMAM Challenge: Dec 11 - Turquoise

 Ok, a LOT of eyeshadows went into this one! There's Blackbird Cosmetics' Beau, Ten Three Labs' Night Butterfly, Beauty FTW's Hazel, Notoriously Morbid' Tenorman Tears, & Eccentriccosmetics' Altered Ego.

The blush's Femme Fatale's Monsters From! Mars, the lips is  Notoriously Morbid Cosmic Gulfs!

IMAM Challenge: Dec 10 - Celebrate Your Nationality

Went with the Indonesian flag for this theme! The lips is Limnit's Racin Carnation & Life's Entropy's Quantum. I don't think Quantum's meant to be worn alone because it's really patchy. The eyes is TKB's Matte Red Pop & NYX's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

Anyway, since I can't go out with clown lips, I first mixed the two colours together and got this bright pink. The colour's wayyy too bright for me, so I added Notoriously Morbid Cosmic Gulfs and got the shade that works!

IMAM Challenge: Dec 9 - The Snow Queen

I had to crack out this icy blue eyeshadow I customized ages ago for this look. I really need to give it more love! The grey-ish black is Hello Waffle's Rule 42, the gold glitter is Lit Cosmetics' Gold digger, the lips is Eccentric Cosmetics' Cano Cristales.

Oh geez, I'm really sucking at uploading this, so I'm stuck backdating everything. Sorry! I decided to go with bright neons, a summer trend I miss the most! This one is using a few old Müse eyeshadows I had and Fyrinnae's Masala!

 I rarely do natural looks so it feels so weird! The highlighter is Femme Fatale Cosmetics' Toy Terror, lips is Fyrinnae' Masala, eyes are Blackbird Cosmetics' Beau & Lucid.

I made a mistake for this theme...I forgot my grandma's a traditional Chinese grandma, so she probably would've approved of the red eyes. She'll definitely disapprove of the grey lips though! The eyes are My Pretty Zombie's mNg no. 2, Hello Waffle's Rule 42, and Brazen's Fierce + Flawless in Primrose Glow. The blush is Femme Fatale's Creepin Coffin. The lips is Limnit's Goodness Graycious, & Deepest Taupes And Dreams, with white eyeshadow dabbed & blended into the middle.

IMAM Challenge: Dec 2 - Favourite Childhood Toy

Today's IMAM Challenge theme is your Favourite Childhood Toy. I liked board games the most as a kid, and I remember this one Snakes & Ladders board game that had a really pretty illustration style that I liked. I tried to imitate that style for this look!

I used Daisy Bird's Dandy Dandelion & an old blue eyeshadow over NYX's Jumbo Eye pencil in Milk!

The lips is Hello Waffle's Maraschino!

Today's IMAM Challenge theme is Candied Apple! So here's my take on it, using Lit Cosmetics' Mother Earth & Mexican Lucky, Backstreet Makeup Co's Raven, and Femme Fatale's The Scarecrow and Wicked Wax Museum!

IMAM Challenge: Nov 29 - Superheroes

I decided to do Wonder Woman-inspired eyes for this challenge!

The blue is a single eyeshadow! It's a colour-changing eyeshadow I made called Cynics, Stoics & Epicureans, and you can find the recipe here. The silver liner is Clio's Star Silver (review here), the red is TKB's Matte Red Pop and the gold is TKB's Crucible Gold turned into a liner with a gel liner base.

Lips is Life's Entropy's Vaccine. Sorry for the wonky eye! I only realized my only photo with my eyes close is this XD

I miss Black Friday shopping in the US so much! This is using Limnit's Olive My Love, The Other Side, & Deepest Taupes And Dreams (swatches here).

IMAM Challenge: Nov 26 - American Thanksgiving

I really, really miss American Thanksgiving....mostly for the deserts. I planned on going with a golden look with brushes of red and gold glitter to try and capture that warm, glowy food coma feeling after a big Thanksgiving meal, but it turns out that Femme Fatale's Chicken Chicken has this strong green shift even though it looks like a plain brown at first! The effect's really cool and I loved the end result, but it's kinda different from what I was planning. Let's just say that represents creamed spinach, ok?

IMAM Challenge: Nov 25 - Tim Burton

When I think of Tim Burton, I just think of brooding blues and purples. Ages ago, I customized a purple eyeshadow with blue highlights and it was inspired by this Corpse Bride poster:

Obviously, I had to crack it out for this theme:

Had to go with purple lips, obviously. This is with Eccentric Cosmetics' Iguazu Falls.
